A little party never killed nobody

One week.  Una semana.  Life is crazy.  So crazy.  I'm partying hard (possibly too hard, although who can judge?), making friends off craigslist trying desperately to sell my car (any takers?), and saying goodbye to all the crazy cool people in my classy San Diego life.  I never thought I would love San Diego as much as I do.  I was 100% convinced that I would live in the cute little town of Tolland, CT for the rest of my life.  I never called myself a beach person but now it is going to seem strange not driving by the ocean, surfing and scuba diving (or attempting), or simply just watching the waves pass with my favorite munchkins.  I am definitely "used to" San Diego weather because it's in the 60s and I'm in a sweater and boots....and cold.  So hopefully the 100 degree Paraguayan heat won't be too crazy.  And I've met so many awesome people that I want to give a few shout outs before I leave San Diego in t-3 days and head home for a few to spend time with my amazing family and Tolland friends. 

To all the munchkins in the neighborhood: I love you.  Leilah: thanks for laughing at all my jokes, letting me cheat in freeze dance, telling me it's okay that I burnt the brownies, and for giving the best hugs and the cutest laughs.  Katherine: thanks for reminding me how much I love teenagers, for showing me the world of reading, for jamming to music in my car with me, and for putting up with my sarcasm and throwing it back at me.  And Owen: my little man, thanks for agreeing that the owl outside your house is "so cool", and for dancing to my favorite songs with me, for hiding right in front of me with your eyes closed during hide and go seek, for laughing when I pretend you knock me over, and for the best snuggles in the entire world.

To my USD loves (you know who you are): I would never have made it without you.  The constant support, In Cahoots dancing nights, burritos, inside jokes, hiking trips, bowling and so much more.  You all mean the world to me and I'm going to miss you so much! 

To my Aalto peeps: Best coworkers ever.  Literally.  Okay, so really the only thing I have to compare you guys too are the weird high school dropouts in Vons bakery but hey.  I'm going to miss you guys so much, all the Judy's runs, trivia nights, midnight testing, sarcastic comments, happy hours and more.  Keep in touch crazies!

And to the Mirandon family:  Thank you so much for everything you do for me.  I love all of you greatly.  Thanks for teaching me to surf, for listening to me complain about work, for taking me on trips, for being my errands buddies, and just the constant love and laughter.  I'm going to miss you more than you know!

So here's to the next few days in San Diego and the goodbye's only continue on the east coast :-(.  I love you all.  Please come visit and I'll see you soon!
